Conduct Performance Analysis

Assuming that the planning and specification tasks in the previous steps have fully completed, the actual performance analysis should be straightforward. The performance analyst is responsible for the work of this step, especially when analytic techniques are used. For simulation models, developers may need to answer questions about some aspects of the product design as the simulation is coded and validated. In some cases, the role of developers and test staff in setting up performance measurements may be considerable.
